Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information AzzuraCraft (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit azzuracraft.net or play on play.azzuracraft.net, and how it is used.

This website

What we collect

  • No trackers. The website has no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
  • Accounts are optional. You only have a website account if you sign in to the player dashboard (see below). Browsing the site needs no account.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may briefly record technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept only for a short time.
  • Third-party requests. If live server status or Discord member counts are enabled, your browser contacts the service that provides it (api.mcstatus.io or discord.com) directly to load that information. Those services receive your IP address under their own privacy policies.

Fonts and images

Fonts and images are served from our own website, not from third-party font services. The one exception is your skin on the player dashboard (see below).

Player dashboard (website account)

Signing in is optional. You sign in by typing a one-time code on the Minecraft server, so we never ask for, see or store a Minecraft, Microsoft or server password.

  • Your account: Minecraft UUID and username, when you linked and when you last signed in.
  • Your sessions: a description of each signed-in browser worked out from its user agent (for example “Chrome on Windows”), when it signed in and when it was last active. We don’t store IP addresses for this.
  • Your dashboard data, sent by the game server while you’re linked: a link to your skin image, rank name, in-game balance, Azzura Crystals, playtime, first-join date, vote counts and streaks, mcMMO skill levels, a few gameplay statistics (such as mobs defeated), the lands you own or belong to (name, your role, size and member count, but no locations), and your own warnings, mutes and bans (type, reason, dates and whether they’re active, but not who issued them). We only keep the latest values.
  • A security log of sign-ins, sign-outs and cancelled sign-ins (time and device description).

The game server sends dashboard data for all online players, but the website immediately discards the data of anyone who hasn’t linked an account.

Why

To show you your own dashboard and to keep your account secure. Only you can see your dashboard; it is never shown to other players.

How long

  • Unused sign-in codes are deleted within minutes.
  • Sessions end 30 days after they were last used, or when you sign out.
  • Security log entries are deleted after 180 days.
  • Everything else is kept until you unlink your account.

Unlinking and deleting your data

On the dashboard, Unlink and delete data immediately deletes your link, all your sessions, your dashboard data and your security log entries. Your progress in game is not affected, and you can link again at any time. Copies in backups disappear when those backups are replaced.

Your skin image

To show your skin, your browser loads the image from textures.minecraft.net, run by Mojang/Microsoft, which receives your IP address under its own privacy policy.

The Minecraft server

When you join the server, we process information needed to run the game, such as:

  • your Minecraft username and UUID;
  • your IP address (for security, abuse prevention and enforcing bans);
  • gameplay data such as chat messages, statistics, economy balances, land claims, votes and moderation records.

We keep this data for as long as it’s needed to run the server and keep it safe and fair. Staff can only access what they need for their role, for example moderators for chat and moderation records.

Voting sites and the store

Voting sites and the Tebex store are run by third parties. When you use them, they process your information under their own privacy policies. Purchases are handled by Tebex under Tebex’s privacy policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to its use. You can delete your website account data yourself with Unlink and delete data on the dashboard. For anything else, contact [email protected].

Children

Many of our players are young. If you’re a parent or guardian and have a question about your child’s data, or want it deleted, contact us at [email protected].

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
